Intrakat enhances its activity in the construction of metropolitan fiber optics networks by undertaking 2 new projects in the municipalities of Serres and Giannouli Larissa, of a total budget of 1.73 mill euro

Peania, March 18 2008 – Two new projects, valued 1.73 mill euro, are added to Intrakats robust backlog in the specialized sector of metropolitan fiber optic networks, in which the company holds a leading position.

Intrakat signed 2 new contracts, the former with the municipality of Serres and its total budget amounts 1.32 mill euro, whereas the latter regards the municipality of Giannouli Larissa and its total budget amounts 0.41 mill euro.

The deliverable fiber optics network as regards the municipality of Serres will be deployed at 16.94 km and is expected to be completed within 2009 and as regards the municipality of Giannouli, it will be deployed at 6.43 km and is expected to be completed within 2008. Upon completion of both projects a total of 23.37 km of fiber optics network will be delivered.
