Design & Build of Aircraft Maintenance Hangar at New Doha International Airport, Qatar including special equipment of operation and maintenance. The Aircraft Maintenance Hangar superstructure utilises 24,000 tons of structural steel. It comprises of two fully air-conditioned hangars, heavy and light maintenance, with total length of 480m and width of 100m. The Hangars have wide structural free span to provide flexibility for different types of aircraft and a workshop / storage building. The larger hangar has a clear span of 220m and the smaller of 180m. The building includes heavy and light maintenance service bays, fixed equipment, docking systems, automated storage, workshops in two levels.
