Agreement berween INTRAKAT and IASO for the construction of a new private clinic in the Rendis area
Peania, March 19 2009 – INTRAKAT SA and IASO SA signed an agreement for the construction of a new private clinic of total budget amounting to 70 million Euro at the municipality of St. Ioannis Rendi, Piraeus.
The clinic will be constructed on INTRAKAT own lot which extends on 12,680 m2 of land and will have a 160-bed capacity of general nursing and an additional 40-bed capacity of special units such as Intensive Care Units (ICU) and Adult and Newborn Intermediate Therapy Units, Artificial Kidney Units, In Vitro Fertilization (Artificial Insemination) Units etc.
Noteworthy is the fact that the building is designed to be constructed by making use of environment friendly and energy saving systems.
The construction of the clinic is a fundamental endeavor for the region as it will offer healthcare and hospital services in the broader area while, upon completion of the project, 600 new jobs will be created for nursing, management and assistantship staff.
