The project is comprised of Hangars A and B for the Emir’s personal aircrafts, as well as an electrical substation complete with standby emergency generator. The Hangar A facility includes 2,500sq meters of offices and shops and an 18,000sq meter hangar that can accommodate up to three A-340-600s simultaneously. Hangar modules, offices and shops have been designed to maintain a 30 degrees Celsius interior temperature limit. Hangar B includes 1,000sq meters of offices and shops and an 11,000sq meter Hangar that can accommodate up to four A 321 simultaneously. The Hangars provide storage and light exterior and interior maintenance as well as minor repairs and are complete with pre conditioned air, service and jacking capabilities.
